CEO of Agathos Consultancy

FRANCES JACOBS is a Coloured female and the CEO of Agathos Consultancy. She is a highly experienced consultant specializing in training and development in the areas of wellness and health care. She established Agathos Consultancy in 2005 and now employs 6 people. Prior to starting Agathos she worked in the Health Department of Local Authority and has 20 years experience in Training and Development. She has been trained in this capacity for a period of eleven years.

Her main focus in the Health and Wellness programme is to provide regular support and advice to both the management and employees in the workforce and their surrounding communities. She also provides a full range of strategy interventions for managing the health of employees, while at the same time reducing cost associated with disability, absenteeism due to chronic illness and HIV/Aids. She supplies specialized knowledge and facilitation to empower an organisation to development and implement a custom made program, which is based on the mission and culture of the organisation. She is highly involved with people living with the HIV virus on a professional and personal level.

Her special interests are in the areas of Training, Development and Counselling, Health Education and Health Management. She inspires others to adopt and spread a healthy lifestyle, demonstrating to all citizens that they too have the potential to be powerful change makers and that they can contribute positively in their work environment and communities.
